Jesus Calls the IRS (tax collectors) with grace, not with Judgement

Zacchaeus was a tax collector. He was despised because he was a deceitful man, cheating people of their money and resorting to false accusations to get what he wanted.

One day, Jesus visited him. The Bible makes no mention of Jesus rebuking him for his dishonest lifestyle the whole time they were together. Instead, Jesus showed him grace and honor by spending time with him. Before long, Zacchaeus stood up and declared to Jesus that he would restore fourfold to anyone he had taken from illegally, and would even give half of his goods to the poor.

Grace Calls to you, you don’t call to grace. Grace motivates us. Faith is a gift of God. It requires no self effort. When grace calls we respond.
Many people think that they need to build up some zealous fervor, but this is all fleshy desire. When God calls you, you will answer! Notice that Zacchaeus´s Sin didn’t stop Jesus from changing his life. Sin is not a blocker to God, In fact without sin there is no Grace.

Grace/Salvation produces justification, justification produces faith, faith produces belief, belief produces peace, peace produces confession, and confession produces Salvation/Grace.

Notice it is God’s work not yours!!! GOD’S!!

Notice it starts with grace and ends with grace. The truth is that God is not against the world, in fact the Jesus Christ was sent so God could reveal to the world his peace toward them.

Most of the world has rejected the peace with God many because, false brethren, have told them that God is condemning them. It is not true! Jesus didn´t come to condemn, condemnation was in the world before Jesus came. He came to set men free from condemnation. That is what grace is, it is freedom, and it requires sin and disqualification. It is a gift not a reward for service.

You have peace with God. I don’t care who you are and what anyone has told you. God is not holding your sin against you in this age. Receive peace and live without condemnation.

Jesus is your peace!!
